Colonel Corey Crosby is The son of an RCAF Radar Tech, Colonel Crosby joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1991 and graduated in 1995 from Royal Roads Military College (RRMC) Victoria, with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Since completing his CELE training at the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics in Kingston, Ontario, Colonel Crosby has been fortunate to have served in a variety of RCAF posts at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, working at 14 Wing Greenwood, 1 Canadian Air Division Headquarters Winnipeg and the Air Staff in Ottawa. He has had the privilege of commanding 8 Air Communications and Control Squadron at 8 Wing Trenton.

Outside of the Air Force, Colonel Crosby has served with the Canadian Forces Joint Signal Regiment in Kingston, the Canadian Joint Operations Command Headquarters and as a Career Manager in Ottawa, and at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) Kingston. He also commanded 76 Communication Regiment in Ottawa. Operational tours include deployments in 2001 for Op CALUMENT in Sinai, Egypt, in 2005 for Op ARCHER in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and in 2007 for Op ATHENA, also in Kandahar.

Colonel Crosby served as Vice-Chief NORAD-USNORTHCOM Joint Cyber Centre at Colorado Springs from 2019 until 2022, and assumed command of Canadian Forces Information Operations Group on 2 June 2022.

Colonel Crosby holds an MBA from Royal Roads University and a Masters in Defence Studies from the Canadian Forces College (CFC) in Toronto. He is a 2001 graduate of the Aerospace Systems Course held at the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Studies in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a 2014 graduate of the Joint Command and Staff Program and a 2018 graduate of the Canadian Security Studies Program. He has his PMP certification.

Colonel Crosby is married to Colonel Robyn Hulan, an Army Signals Officer. They have an eight year old son.
