A Celebration of Life will be held for Allan Stapleton on 04 January 2020. He would have turned 100 the following day. It will take place at Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club in east end Toronto where Al was a Life Member. This will be a non-religious celebration. Remarks and reminisces will begin at 2:00 p.m. As this is an open event to all who wish to attend, Please RSVP to John Stapleton ([email protected]) for planning purposes. In addition, if you would like to speak at the event, please be in touch. We will include an ‘open mike’ at the end of formalities should time permit. Please feel free to share this ‘save the date’ with people who knew Al. Al’s interment will take place at a date to be determined in 2020 at the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa.  

There will be a social gathering in Herb’s honour at the ANAF Club (Gore Road) on Friday, 10 January 2020, at 1400 hours. We are heading into the Christmas holidays, and want to make sure as many people as possible are tracking attendance.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 631 in Collins Bay on Saturday, 25 January 2020 between the hours of 1pm and 4pm. All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. Dave will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens on Friday, 24 January 2020. Many thanks from family to the doctors, nurses and staff at Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care Hospital for their treatment and care during Dave’s illness.
