On Wednesday 13 April CFJOSG Comd Col. Morrison presented Cpl Kerr of CFJSR with the CJOC Command Commendation on behalf of CJOC Comd.

The Commendation reads:

“Since February 2021, Corporal Kerr has demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and resolve while fundraising in support of the Kingston Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Through a myriad of personal physical challenges and concurrent interviews with news outlets, he has raised over $125,000 to purchase webcams that now afford family members 24 hour viewing of their newborns, Corporal Kerr’s tremendous initiative has significantly alleviated stress on families who require the support of the NICU, and has consequently brought great credit to himself and the Canadian Joint Operations Command.”
