Major Jennifer Arsenault, awarded the SSM with Expedition bar, for her work on Op PRESENCE TF-Training Support to Peacekeeping Operations (TF-TSPO), which saw the TF deploy to Rwanda and Uganda in the fall of 2021 and spring of 2022.

TF-TSPO was tasked to develop and deliver a United Nations-Engagement Platoon (UN-EP) program, which would standardize and integrate ‘Engagement’ with the United Nations Infantry Battalion (UNIBAT) pilot training course and doctrinal model.  The pilot version was first delivered to a Platoon of Rwandan Defense Force soldiers, before applying some lessons learned and subsequent participation in the UN validation for the course in Entebbe Uganda. The UN-EP Reinforcement Training Package (RTP) course and handbook has subsequently been signed by the DPKO and will utilized for all UNIBAT deployments.
