On Tuesday, Sept 27, 2016, surrounded by the love of her family, Kathleen quietly slipped away at the age of 52. She leaves her husband and soul mate Mike Purcell, her much adored children Ian, Grant, and Shelagh Purcell. Daughter of the late John and Sophia Foran. Dear sister of Eileen George (the late Harry), Anne Symonds (Ted), Con Foran (Linda), Frank Foran (Janice), Cathy Drennan (Gordie), Terry Foran, the late Janice Bowland (Gerry), Donna Auger, Rosemary Foran (Jack Martin), Mary Ellen Foran (Gerald Jefferson), Margaret Foran (Rick Govers), Tom Foran (Debbie), and Betty Jane Higgins (Greg), loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by her Aunt Sister Eileen Foran, mother-in-law June Longford, brother-in-law Noel Purcell (Michelle Whelan), and will also be greatly missed by her friends and colleagues at CNIH and Merivale Medical Imaging. A Celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held at Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean On Saturday October 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm, followed by a reception. The family invites friends and those who new her well to attend.
