PORTER, Frederic Liam Andrew – Sadly passed away on June 11, 2015 in his 50th year. Liam is survived by his wife and best friend of 24 years Marta; daughters Gabrielle and Melissa; parents Antoinette and Bill; brothers Robert (twin), Ronald, and David as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Liam was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend to all. In his work, Liam was a high achiever, amazing leader, supportive mentor; but most importantly, he was a genuinely caring friend to every single person he interacted within and outside of work. His loved ones will especially miss him, and will never forget him. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd in Kingston, Ontario on Thursday June 18th, with visitation to take place from 10:00 AM in the church. Liam will be laid to rest at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online in Liam’s name to the Soldier On Fund (Support Our Troops), part of the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services.
