Norman James Denby Buist: 41 Years RCN (Retired)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Fairmount Home on Sunday January 12, 2020 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Diane (Nee Stevens). Much loved father of Norman Buist Jr. of Hamilton, Ted Buist of Petawawa and Terry Buist (Ellen) of Gananoque. Will be sadly missed by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.The family wishes to extend their gratitude and special thanks to the efforts of the KGH Heart unit, as well as the tremendous care and love he received from all the staff at Fairmount Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fairmount Home Auditorium 2069 Battersea Rd. Glenburnie on Saturday July 4, 2020 from 1-3 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Salvation Army, Alzheimer’s Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
