RETIREMENT – CORPORAL DERRICK CROWDER, 00340 – CELE

1. AFTER 10 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE, CPL DERRICK CROWDER WILL RETIRE ON 15 NOVEMBER 2022.

2. BORN IN WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CPL DERRICK CROWDER BEGAN LIFE IN THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES IN NOVEMBER 2012 AS AN ATIS TECH. IN MAY 2014, AFTER COMPLETING QL3, DERRICK WAS POSTED TO CFB BAGOTVILLE, QUEBEC. WHILE THERE CPL CROWDER WORKED WITH THE 77 LINE REGIMENT WORKING UNDER SHARED SERVICES CANADA. IN JULY 2017, DERRICK WAS POSTED TO THE AIRFIELD AT 12 WING SHEARWATER.

IN JANUARY 2020, CPL CROWDER MOVED TO HALIFAX TO THE TRANSITION CENTRE. IT WAS HERE WHERE THE CLASSIC ATIS TECH WORK OF MAINTAINING COMPUTERS TOOK PLACE.
NOVEMBER 2021 SAW CPL CROWDER RETURN TO CFB SHEARWATER BUT THIS TIME TO THE CSM SHOP.

3. CPL CROWDER WILL BE RETIRING IN THE ANNAPOLIS VALLEY, KINGSTON, NOVA SCOTIA.
