2. MIKE AND LARISSA JOINED THE CAF IN 1996 AND 1998 RESPECTIVE AND BOTH RECEIVED THEIR ENGINEERING DEGREES AT THE ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE OF CANADA. WHILE THEY WERE AT THE COLLEGE TOGETHER FOR TWO YEARS, THEY DID NOT OFFICIALLY MEET UNTIL 2000 WHILE PARTICIPATING IN PHASE TRAINING AT THE CANADIAN FORCES SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS. MIKE FINISHES HIS CAREER AS A SECTION HEAD WITHIN THE DIRECTORATE OF LAND COMMAND SYSTEMS PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND LARISSA AS A PROJECT MANAGER OF A CAPITAL PROJECT IN THE DIRECTORATE OF PROJECT DELIVERY INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS.

3. WHILE THE LIST OF UNITS ABOVE IS ONLY A HIGHLIGHT OF THOSE ATTENDED BY BOTH MIKE AND LARISSA, THEY WOULD LIKE TO RECOGNIZE THE VALUABLE EXPERIENCES, FRIENDSHIPS AND LESSONS THEY LEARNED AT EACH AND EVERY UNIT THEY WERE MEMBERS OF. THERE WAS NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN THEIR CAREERS, AND THROUGHOUT THEY TREASURED THE CONNECTIONS THEY MADE WITH THE SOLDIERS, SR NCOS AND OFFICERS WITH WHOM THEY SERVED.

4. BOTH MIKE AND LARISSA WILL BE JOINING THE PUBLIC SERVICE WITH MIKE HEADING TO SHARED SERVICES CANADA AND LARISSA STAYING IN IM GP. THEY LOOK FORWARD TO A STABLE HOUSEHOLD TOGETHER WHILE THEY TAKE CARE OF THEIR FOUR CHILDREN, NADIA, RYAN, RACHEL AND ALEXANDER.
