1. MASTER CORPORAL CHRISTOPHER JACKSON WILL RETIRE FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES, 09 JULY 2019, AFTER 17 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE.

2. CHRISTOPHER ENROLLED IN THE CAF IN 2002 IN HAMILTON, ONTARIO AND ATTENDED BASIC TRAINING IN SAINT-JEAN QUEBEC. DURING THE 2 YEARS AND 10 MONTHS, CHRISTOPHER SPENT HIS TIME IN KINGSTON ONTARIO COMPLETING PERFORMANCE-ORIENTED ELECTRONICS TRAINING AND LAND COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SYSTEM TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATION.

3. HIS FIRST POSTING WAS TO CMTC WAINWRIGHT AB IN JULY 2005 WHERE HE SPENT HIS FIRST 3 YEARS WORKING AS AN LCIS TECH. IN MARCH 2008 HE COMPLETED HIS LCIS QL5A. SUMMER OF 2008 HE WAS POSTED TO CFB WINNIPEG, MB WHERE HE SPENT THE NEXT 4 YEARS TILL 2011.

4. IN 2010 WHILE WORKING AT 17 WING TELECOMMUNICATION SQUADRON, CHRISTOPHER DID AN OCCUPATIONAL TRANSFER TO AEROSPACE TELEOCMMUNICATION INFORMATION SYSTEM TECHNICIAN. AS A NEWLY QUALIFIED ATIS TECH HE DEPLOYED WITH THE 17 MSS TO SICILY, ITALY WHERE HE WAS PART OF TASK FORCE LIBECCIO FROM SEPT 2011 TO MAR 2012. FOR HIS INTRUMENTAL DEDICATION AND PROFESIONALISM DURING HIS TOUR IN ITALY, MASTER CORPORAL JACKSON WAS AWARDED THE NATO-OP UNIFIED MEDAL.

5. IN 2012 CHRISTOPHER WAS POSTED TO CFSCE IN KINGSTON WHERE HE COMMENCED HIS CHAPTER AS A POET INSTRUCTOR FOR 2 YRS AND IN OCTOBER 2012 COMPLETED PLQ. IN 2014 HE WAS MOVED TO THE ATIS QL3 CELL, HIS STRONG BACKGROUND ON RADIOS MADE HIM A GREAT ASSET TO THIS CELL NOT ONLY WHILE TEACHING ON THE QL3 BUT AS THE SME FOR THE GRT 22 , GRR 24 AND GRC 171 RADIO OSQ COURSES. HE REMAINED IN THE QL3 CELL UP UNTIL HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES.

6. CHRISTOPHER ALONG WITH HIS WIFE TINA WILL REMAIN IN THE KINGSTON/NAPANEE AREA WHERE HE WILL BE PURSUING HIS CAREER AS A REAL ESTATE BROKER WITH REMAX.

7. A DEPART WITH DIGNITY LUNCHEON WILL BE HELD AT KINGSTON BREW COMPANY ON FRIDAY 05 JULY 2019 COMMNECING AT 1130. THE DRESS FOR THOSE IN ATTENDANCE WILL BE DRESS OF THE DAY OR APPROPRIATE CIVILIAN ATTIRE.
