1. MASTER CORPORAL MARK OSBOURNE WILL BE RETIRING FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES ON THE 14TH OF NOVEMBER 2021, AFTER 17 YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE TO THE CANADIAN ARMY AND ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE.

2. MARK JOINED THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES IN ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND IN OCTOBER OF 2004 AS A SIGNALS OPERATOR IN THE PRIMARY RESERVES WHILE COMPLETING HIGH SCHOOL. AFTER COMPLETION OF BASIC TRAINING IN SHILO, MANITOBA IN 2005, MARK RETURNED HOME TO COMPLETE HIS HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA. AFTER PARTICIPATING IN A NUMBER OF OPERATIONS WITH 728 COMMUNICATIONS SQUADRON IN SOME OF THE MOST REMOTE, NORTHERN PARTS OF CANADA, AND WORKING AS AN ELECTRICIAN ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE, MARK JOINED THE REG FORCE AS AN ATIS TECH IN MARCH OF 2012. AFTER COMPLETION OF POET IN KINGSTON IN 2013, MARK WAS POSTED BRIEFLY TO GANDER THAT YEAR, FOLLOWED BY FURTHER TRAINING AND A POSTING TO CFB HALIFAX. BETWEEN 2013 AND NOW, MARK HAS WORKED DESKTOP SUPPORT WITH N6/BIS, AND SUPPORTED THE MILL COVE RX SECTION AFTER A PROMOTION TO MCPL IN 2018.

3. MARK AND HIS FAMILY PLAN ON SETTLING IN THE HALIFAX AREA, STAYING CLOSE TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS, WHILE WORKING AS A CS02 WITH 12 TELECOMM FLT AND MASTERING HIS WOODWORKING SKILLS.
