2. MWO DARRIGAN ENROLLED IN THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES IN 1991 FROM CORNER BROOK NL AS A TERMINAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN 222. AFTER TRADES TRAINING IN KINGSTON, HIS FIRST POSTING WAS AT 706 COMMUNICATIONS SQUADRON AT CFB BORDEN, SUBSIQUENT POSTINGS INCLUDED 726 COMMUNICATIONS SQUADRON, CANDIAN FORCES JOINT SIGNALS REGIMENT, 3 AREA SUPPORT GROUP AT CBG GAGETOWN, MARLANT HQ, AND FINALLY, 5 CANADIAN DIVISION HQ. HE HAS COMPLETED OPERATIONAL TOURS IN THE FORMER YUGOSLAVIA AND AFGHANISTAN ALONG WITH A SUPPORT TASKING IN THE GOLAND HEIGHTS.

3. MWO DARRIGAN WILL BE TAKING A POSITION WITHIN THE PUBLIC SERVICE AS A SUPPORT ANALYST WITHIN SSC, AND REMAINING IN THE HALIFAX AREA. HE ENTERS THIS SECOND CAREER WITH THE FULL SUPPORT OF HIS SPOUSE TRACEY DARRIGAN AND HIS TWO DAUGHTERS, PATRICIA AND KATELYN.
