BILL WAS EMPLOYED IN A WIDE VARIETY OF ROLES REPRESENTING THE SIGNALS BRANCH WITHIN JTF2. HE WAS INITIALLY EMPLOYED AS A SQUADRON SIGNALLER AND ONCE HE WAS PROMOTED, HE BECAME THE COMMAND POST SERGEANT. 4. BILL IS EXTREMELY HONOURED AND HUMBLED TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH TRUE PROFESSIONALS WITHIN THE SIGNALS BRANCH, THE SOF COMMUNITY AND THE GREATER CAF. FINALLY, BILL IS EXTREMELY THANKFUL FOR THE HARD WORK AND LOVING SUPPORT PROVIDED BY HIS FAMILY WHO ENDURED MANY SHORT NOTICE DEPLOYMENTS. HE WAS ALWAYS ABLE TO FOCUS ON HIS JOB KNOWING THAT HIS FAMILY WAS BEING TAKEN CARE OF ON THE HOME FRONT BY HIS STRONG AND INDEPENDENT WIFE HEATHER. SHE WAS THE CONTINUITY AS THEY RAISED THEIR 3 CHILDREN TOGETHER. AFTER RETIREMENT BILL PLANS TO ENJOY THE OUTDOORS WITH HIS WIFE, KIDS AND GRANDKIDS IN THE OTTAWA VALLEY AREA.
