2. HE ENROLLED IN THE CAF ON 19 JUN 90 AT THE AGE OF 18. MOOSE COMPLETED BASIC TRAINING AT CFB CORNWALLIS IN AUG 90. HE’S BEEN POSTED 8 TIMES TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS ACROSS CANADA AND EUROPE, MAINLY SERVING WITH THE CANADIAN ARMY BEFORE ENDING UP AT HIS FINAL POSTING IN OTTAWA WITH CANADIAN FORCES NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTRE (CFNOC).
3. AFTER BASIC TRAINING MOOSE COMPLETED BASIC AIR DEFENCE ARTILLERYMAN COURSE IN SHILO, MANITOBA, IN DEC 90, AND THEN PROCEEDED ON HIS FIRST POSTING TO 119 AIR DEFENCE BATTERY IN CHATHAM NEW BRUNSWICK. IN 1995 MOOSE DECIDED TO LOOK TO GREENER PASTURES AND REMUSTERED TO THEN ADMINISTRATION CLERK(ADMIN) AND WAS POSTED TO BORDEN, ONTARIO. AFTER GRADUATING HIS QL3’S IN BORDEN HE WAS POSTED TO MPSS GAGETOWN NEW BRUNSICK. MISSING THE FIELD, OR FIELD PAY HE WAS POSTED TO 2 ROYAL CANADIAN REGIMENT IN GAGETOWN. HE COMPLETED A TOUR IN BOSINA ON OPERATION PALADIUM ROTO 4. ON RETURN FROM BOSNIA HE WAS POSTED CFB GAGETOWN RECRUITING CENTRE. NOW LOOKING TO GREENER PASTURES AGAIN HE REMUSTERED AGAIN TO LAND COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SYSTEM TECHNICIAN AND POSTED TO KINGSTON, ONTARIO. AFTER OBTAINING HIS ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN’S DIPLOMA FROM ST LAWERENCE COLLEGE HE WAS POSTED TO CANADIAN FORCES CRYPTO MAINTENANCE UNIT. HE COMPLETED NUMERIOUS TAVS, INCLUDING AFGAHANISTAN IN 2006. IN 2009 HE WAS POSTED TO THE SCHOOL OF EXCELLENANCE, CFSCE. HE MOLDED MANY YOUNG SIGNALERS MINDS AT THE SCHOOL FOR 5 YEARS BEFORE ACCEPTING A POSTING TO 37 SIGNALS REGIMENT IN ST JOHN’S NEWFOUNDLAND. AFTER 2 YEARS OF THE SALTY LIFE, MOOSE WAS GIVING THE GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO BE POSTED TO 768 COMMUNICATIONS DETACHMENT IN GEILIENKIRCHEN GERMANY. COVID ALLOWED HIM TO STAY AND EXTRA YEAR AND GET 5 YEARS SPEEDING UP AND DOWN THE AUTOBAHN. IN 2021, HE RECEIVED HIS NOW FINAL POSTING MESSAGE TO CFNOC AS TECHNICIAN.
4. JASON WILL BE RETIRING TO A PUBLIC SERVANT JOB WITH 7 COMMUNICATIONS GROUP IN THE NCR. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL ALLOW HIM TO FIND MORE TIME ON THE GREENS IMPROVING HIS GOLF GAME.
