1. SERGEANT JEREMIE TREMBLAY HAS RETIRED FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES ON 5 MAR 21 AFTER MORE THAN 20 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS AND THE CANADIAN ARMY.
2. JEREMIE ENROLLED IN THE CAF ON 20 SEP 2000 IN HIS HOMETOWN OF ROUYN-NORANDA, QC AS AN INFANTRYMAN. FROM THERE, HE COMPLETED HIS BMQ AT CFLRS ST. JEAN AND HIS BATTLE SCHOOL IN VALCARTIER BEFORE BEING POSTED TO 2ND BN R22ER ON 4 MAY 01. HE SERVED WITH THAT UNIT UNTIL HE APPLIED FOR AN VOT TO 052 LINEMAN ON 10 JUL 06 AND DEPARTED QC FOR HIS QL3 TRAINING AT CFSCE. HE WAS POSTED TO CFJSR ON 30 MAR 07, AND REMAINED THERE UNTIL 2011, ESPECIALLY ENJOYING HIS TIME WITH 1 LINE ON THE ROAD CREW. IN 2011, HE APPLIED FOR A POSITION IN CANSOFCOM AT CSOR AND ATTENDED THE INAUGURAL SOSIG COURSE IN 2013. HE WAS PROMOTED TO SERGEANT IN 2017, AND REMAINED AT CSOR AS THE LINE SECT COMD UNTIL 2018 WHEN HIS EXPERTISE IN ROPE ACCESS TRAINING LEAD HIM TO A MOVE TO CSOTC TO RUN THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS WORKING ALOFT PROGRAM UNTIL HIS RELEASE TO THE SUPP RES. THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, HE WAS ABLE TO DEPLOY MULTIPLE TIMES INCLUDING BOSNIA (2002), KUWAIT (2011) AND MULTIPLE CANSOF DEPLOYMENTS.
3. JEREMIE IS SETTLING DOWN ON SOME PROPERTY JUST ACROSS THE RIVER FROM PETAWAWA IN QUEBEC WITH HIS WIFE JULIE AND HIS CHILDREN ELIANA AND SAMUEL WHILE HE PURSUES A NEW CAREER IN FINE CARPENTRY AND CONSTRUCTION. AS WELL, HE HOPES TO CONTINUE HIS PASSION FOR INSTRUCTING ROPE ACCESS TRAINING TO SOSIGS AT CSOTC IN THE FUTURE.
4. DUE TO COVID-19, A SMALL DWD WAS HELD WITH HIS COWORKERS AND HE REMAINS IN TOUCH WITH HIS MILITARY FAMILY.
