1. AFTER 33+ YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES, SERGEANT JOHN B.E. MICHAUD IS RETIRING ON 10 MARCH 2021. 
  1. SGT MICHAUD JOINED THE CAF IN KINGSTON ON 21 JULY 1987, AND COMPLETED HIS BASIC TRAINING IN CORNWALLIS. UPON GRADUATION FROM BASIC, SGT MICHAUD WAS POSTED TO KINGSTON WHERE HE COMPLETED HIS QL3’S. DURING HIS CAREER, SGT MICHAUD WAS POSTED TO CFS MASSET, CFS ALERT, CFS LEITRIM (X3), CANADIAN FORCES LANGUAGE SCHOOL (X2), 1ST CANADIAN DIVISION AND SIGNAL REGIMENT, 2 SQUADRON/21 ELECTRONIC WARFARE REGIMENT (X2), AND FINALLY CANADIAN FORCES SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION AND ELECTRONICS. HE WAS DEPLOYED TO BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA (X2), AUGSBURG GERMANY, AND AFGHANISTAN (X3). 
  2. JOHN HAS DECIDED TO HANG HIS HAT IN THE KINGSTON AREA, WITH HIS WIFE SUSAN, AND FIND LOCAL PART TIME EMPLOYMENT.
  1. JOHN WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HE HAS HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, BOTH SERVING, AND THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY GONE ON TO OTHER THINGS.
