1. FOLLOWING OVER 32 YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE IN THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES, SERGEANT KEVIN WILSON WILL BE RETIRING ON 14 MARCH 2021.

2. SERGEANT KEVIN WILSON FIRST ENROLLED AS A RESERVE ARTILLERYMAN WITH 11TH FIELD REG GUELPH IN MARCH 1987. SERGEANT WILSON MADE THE JUMP TO THE REG FORCE IN SEP 1988 AND COMPLETED HIS QL3 AS A RAD TECH IN NOV 1989. POSTINGS INCLUDE 733 COMMS SQN WINNIPEG, F18 FOLLY LAKE NOVA SCOTIA, CFS LEITRIM OTTAWA, CFS LEITRIM DET GANDER, AND CFNOC OTTAWA. HIS CAREER HAS TAKEN HIM ACROSS THE GLOBE, FROM MULTIPLE VISITS TO THE FROZEN NORTH IN CFS ALERT (SEVEN TOURS BETWEEN 1996 AND 2015) TO THE ARID DESERTS OF AFGHANISTAN (FOUR VISITS SPANNING 2003 TO 2006). WHEN SERGEANT WILSON WASN’T TRAVERSING THE GLOBE, HE SPENT MUCH OF HIS CAREER IN CFS LEITRIM IN VARIOUS CAPACITIES ENDING AS THE SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR IN CFNOC (2016).

3. SERGEANT WILSON INTENDS ON RETIRING IN THE NCR WITH HIS WIFE, DAUGHTER AND GRANDDAUGHTER WHERE HE WILL BE EMPLOYED AS A DND CONTRACTOR.
