1. WARRANT OFFICER CHRIS GLANDON IS RETIRING FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES ON 06 JAN 2022 AFTER 18+ YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE.

2. CHRIS ENROLLED IN THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AS A LAND COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN IN OTTAWA ON 30 APRIL 2003. UPON COMPLETION OF BASIC TRAINING, HE WAS POSTED TO CFB SHILO AND SPENT THE NEXT 4 YEARS REPAIRING COMMS EQUIPMENT FOR 1 RCHA AND 2 PPCLI. IN 2009 HE WAS POSTED TO CFS LEITRIM IN OTTAWA AND PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF MCPL IN 2010. HE SPENT THE NEXT 5 YEARS DEPLOYING DOZENS OF TIMES WITHIN CANADA, AFRICA, EUROPE AND THE MIDDLE EAST. HE WAS PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF SGT IN 2014 AND POSTED TO CFB PETAWAWA, SPENDING THE NEXT 4 YEARS AS THE TECH SHOP IC FOR 2 HQ & SIGS SQN AND 2 SVC BN. IN JULY 2018, HE RETURNED TO CFS LEITRIM TO END HIS CAREER AS A TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE COUNTERMEASURES TECHNICIAN WITH THE CANADIAN FORCES NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER.

3. CHRIS IS GRATEFUL FOR THE FRIENDSHIPS DEVELOPED DURING HIS CAREER AND EXTENDS SPECIAL RECOGNITION TO HIS WIFE JENNIFER FOR HER UNWAVERING SUPPORT THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER.

4. CHRIS AND HIS WIFE HAVE PLANS TO SHAKE THINGS UP BY SELLING THEIR HOME IN THE OTTAWA SUBURBS TO BUY LAND AND BUILD A HOMESTEAD OUTSIDE THE CITY.
