1. WARRANT OFFICER GEOFF POTTS WILL RETIRE FROM THE CANADIAN FORCES ON 24 NOVEMBER 2021 AFTER 33 PLUS YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE.

2. GEOFF ENROLLED IN THE CANADIAN FORCES IN MAY 1988. HE HAS SERVED AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS DURING HIS CAREER: CFS CARP, CFJSR, CFEME TORONTO, PETAWAWA, EDMONON, BORDEN, KINGSTON, CFCMU AND CFIOG HQ.

3. GEOFF HAS PARTICIPATED IN THE MONTREAL ICE STORM RELIEF, AS WELL AS THE WINNIPEG FLOODS. HE ALSO HAS MULTIPLE DEPLOYMENTS, ONE IN GOLAN HEIGHTS ON OP DANACA IN 1998-1999, ONE IN AFGHANISTAN ON OP ATHENA IN 2003 AND ANOTHER IN AFGHANISTAN ON OP ARCHER IN 2005.

4. GEOFF THANKS ALL THOSE WHOM HE SERVED WITH, AND IS THANKFUL FOR THE LONG AND GREAT FRIENDSHIPS DEVELOPED OVER HIS TIME IN UNIFORM. GEOFF IS ALSO GRATEFUL TO ALL WHO HELPED HIM OVER THE YEARS.

5. GEOFF IS LOOKING FORWARD TO WHAT THE NEXT CHAPTER IN IS LIFE WILL BRING.

6. NO DEPART WITH DIGNITY EVENT WILL BE HELD AT HIS TIME DUE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION. A SMALL GATHERING WILL BE ORGANIZED WHEN CONDITIONS PERMIT.
