Nancy it was a pleasure to work with you and see how you were able to pass on your knowledge to the younger generation of Techs coming behind you. You were always very professional to deal with and took on all tasks or employment opportunities and saw that they were completed on time and beyond everyone’s expectations. Thank you for your help while you were the WCWO’s Assistant in Comox but even more importantly while you looked after the airfield in Comox.
I wish you and your family the best going forward and I hope that I get a chance to meet up with you again in the future.

Take Care

I will always be so grateful for the opportunity I had to work with WO Rossignol for almost two years. Shortly after first joining DND as a civilian, WO Rossignol was moved over to the SMC. Watching her lead the technicians with a mix of decorum, efficiency and friendliness was a model to me as I adjusted to the differences of working in DND. WO Rossignol showed patience and dedication in helping me adjust to my new role. At all times she made me feel like and equal and a valued member of the team. I believe her to be the perfect representation of what it means to be a good leader, a good friend, and a wonderful person.

Congratulations on your retirement Nancy! You are already missed, but I am so excited for you to be able to explore this next chapter in you life.

First time I met Nancy was on course in Kingston. Your quiet and unassuming personality hid an astute and keen mind with a wonder sense of humour. I had the pleasure of working with you in Comox some 10 years later at the Airfield and though we didn’t work together for very long, I found you to be a compassionate and capable leader, always willing to help others.

Nancy, I wish you the best of luck in the future and you will be certainly missed by those of us who had the chance to work with you, take care.
