1. AFTER 31 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE, WARRANT OFFICER’S PATRICK VALE’S LAST DAY IN UNIFORM WILL BE 8 APRIL 2021.

2. WO PATRICK VALE WAS BORN IN NEW BRUNSWICK. HE JOINED THE CAF IN JULY 1990 AND WAS SENT TO CFSCE KINGSTON FOR THE POET PROGRAM. UPON COMPLETING POET COURSE, HE BECAME A RADAR TECHNICIAN. PATRICK VALE WORKED IN SEVERAL WINGS/BASES IN HIS CAREER. HE WAS POSTED FIRST TO 22 WING NORTHBAY AT THE RADAR CONTROL WING HQ, WORKING IN IT SUPPORT. HE WAS THEN POSTED TO CFB GANDER, NL, WHERE HE TAUGHT THE CANADIAN COASTAL RADAR, THEN AT CFB GREENWOOD, NS, WORKING PRIMARILY ON AGA RADIOS AND CCR SYDNEY AND BARRINGTON. LATER ON, HE WAS POSTED TO CFB TRENTON, 8OSS, CIS FLIGHT, WORKING AT IFRCC AND WORKSHOPS. PROMOTED TO SGT IN JUL 2012 AND WAS POSTED TO 403 HEL (OT) SQN AT CFB GAGETOWN, NB. AFTER TWO YEARS AT THE ARMY BASE, HE FINALLY RETURNED BACK TO CFB TRENTON AND WAS I/C AFDNET AT ATESS. PROMOTED TO WO SHORTLY BEFORE HIS FINAL POSTING TO 8OSS CIS FLIGHT IN JUNE 2018. DURING HIS TIME IN CIS FLIGHT, WO VALE HAS BEEN RCS MAINTENANCE WARRANT OFFICER, AND ALSO AS C4 SYSTEMS WO.

3. PATRICK AND HIS WIFE CARLA  ARBUCKLE ARE MARRIED FOR 15 YEARS AND HAVE 3 CHILDREN: ALEXANDER, THOMAS AND JASON VALE, WHO RESIDE IN ONTARIO AND NEW BRUNSWICK. PATRICK AND CARLA EXPECT TO RETIRE IN THE NEW GLASGOW AREA OF NOVA SCOTIA, WHERE HE WILL PURSUE HIS HOBBIES OF POTTERY, MAKING BACON AND ALSO ENJOY THE RELAXING RETIREMENT LIFE.
