MWO A. DÉNOMMÉE WILL RETIRE ON 05 SEPTEMBER 2018 AFTER 20 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AND ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS.

MWO A. DÉNOMMÉE JOINED THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES IN 1998 AT THE AGE OF 20 AS A RADIO OPERATOR (211). AFTER COMPLETING BMQ IN SAINT-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU AND SOLDIER QUALIFICATION IN BORDEN IN 1998, HE WAS POSTED TO 5 CMBG HEADQUARTERS AND SIGNAL SQUADRON (QGET), WHERE HE BEGAN HIS EXPERIENCE AS A RADIO OPERATOR WITHIN A TROOP. FROM JUL 1999 TO OCT 1999 HE WAS DEPLOYED TO OP PRUDENCE IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC AS A DET MEMBER OF THE OUT DET KAGABONDORO. UPON HIS RETURN HE QUICKLY BECOME THE CO’S DRIVER FOR 2 YEARS. AFTER WHICH HE WAS POSTED TO ROYAL 22IEME REGIMENT 2ND BATTAILLON AS MEMBER OF THE SIGS PON. FROM JAN 2004 TO SEPT 2004 HE WAS DEPLOYED IN AFGHANISTAN ON THE OPERATION ATHENA IN KABUL WHERE HE WAS PART OF THE ITALIAN DET (MNEG).

QUICKLY PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF MCPL HE WAS MOVED AS PRONTO OF CIE B WHERE HE DEPLOYED ON MULTIPLE EXERCISES INCLUDING SOME WITH THE U.S. MARINE CORPS IN VIRGINIA. POSTED BACK AT QGET TO DEPLOY IN AFGHANISTAN ON OP ATHENA TASK FORCE 3-07 IN KANDAHAR AIRFIELD IN 2007 WHERE HE SPENT 10 MONTHS AS MAIN CP SGT AT THE TASK FORCE HQ. PROMOTED SGT IN 2008 AFTER WHICH HE WAS POSTED TO 2 CDSG VALCARTIER AS OPS SGT FOR A YEAR. PRIOR TO HIS POSTING TO THE CANADIAN FORCES SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS IN KINGSTON, ONTARIO IN JUL 2009 AS COURSE DIRECTOR FOR DP1 WITH 2 SQN. AFTER A FEW YEARS, HE WAS POSTED AT CANADIAN FORCE JOINT SIGNAL REGIMENT (CFJSR) IN 2012 WHERE HE WAS REGIMENTAL OPS SGT BEFORE HIS PROMOTION TO WARRANT OFFICER IN 2013 WHERE HE OCCUPIED THE F TROOP WO POSITION AND OPS WO FOR 1 LINE SQN. PROMOTED MASTER WARRANT OFFICER IN 2016, MWO A. DÉNOMMÉE WAS POSTED BACK TO CFSCE AS THE CHIEF COMM OP (CCO) WHERE HIS MANDATE WAS TO WORK ON THE ACCIS TRADE REVIEW WHICH HE HAS CONTINUED TO DO EVERY DAY EVER SINCE.

MWO A. DÉNOMMÉE WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE CANADA ON A RESERVIST POSITION AS ISSO FOR 1 WING HQ IN KINGSTON, WHERE HE WILL LIVE WITH HIS 3 CHILDREN.

Le duel Adj Denommée vs Maj MacDonald avec la bungee cord et la biere durant le guncamp au JSR reste gravé dans ma memoire(2013 ou 2014), André fort comme un boeuf prend une gorgée de biere et laisse la can vraiment loin. Major McDonald la ramasse ya met une tite affaire plus loin mais André va la rechercher et là ben le major McDonald ( un assez grang gaillard qui etait OC 1 Line ) yé devenu rouge, mauve, bleu ya jamais ete capable jpensais quon allait devoir le re-animer. Bonne chance dans ta nouvelle job d’ISSO!

Je suis triste de voir qu’un élément comme toi libère…..J’imagine que c’est familial? No matter what! Tu as été un élément clé sur la 3-07 et je ne garde que de bons souvenirs avec toi!!!
