In one of his first official functions as our newly appointed Branch Leader, Brigadier-General James Lambert had the pleasure of promoting two senior Branch members to the rank of Colonel on June 10th, 2020. The promotions took place in the presence of family in virtual ceremonies. They are…

• Colonel Scott Gillingham; and
• Colonel Pascal Ouellet.

Furthermore, the Branch Leader received confirmation on June 9th, 2020 that the Chief of Military Personnel officially endorsed the nomination of Colonel Eric Charron to serve as the new C&E Branch Advisor. Colonel Charron – presently 17 Wing Commander in Winnipeg, Manitoba – is set to replace Colonel Stéphane Roy on July 27th, 2020. Colonel Roy is appointed Chief of Staff for the 2nd Canadian Division in Montréal, Québec. A virtual change-of-appointment ceremony is set to occur at that time.
