October 24th marks the Communication & Electronics (C&E) Branch anniversary. Signallers across Petawawa dedicated the afternoon of 25 October 24 to honor the Branch’s long-standing legacy in military communications. The celebration included C&E Branch members from 2 CMBG HQ & Sig Sqn, 77 Line Regt 4 Line Sqn, 4 CDSG Sig Sqn, and Signal Platoons from across 2 CMBG. The event featured an inspiring speech from Lt E. Luomala, reflecting on the history of the Signals Corps and its evolution into the present-day C&E Branch. The 2 Sig Sqn Commanding Officer (CO), Maj Clarke, addressed the squadron and guests for attending such a significant day. The ceremony concluded with the ceremonial cutting of the cake by the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM), CWO Radbourne, and CO, Maj Clarke, a symbolic gesture honoring the unity and spirit of the C&E family.
