25 Oct 1980 ~ 13 Nov 2024

MWO Clipperton passed away at his home in Lancaster Park, Alberta on Wednesday November 13th, 2024 at the age of 44 years.

Andy was pre-deceased by his mother Mary and is survived by his children, AJ, Macy and Cooper, his father Leland, step-mother Patti, sisters Seanna and Fiona, brother Jesse and partner Kaitlin, and new baby niece Arlo. He will be fondly remembered by his former spouse, the mother of his children and dearest friend, Tara Blackstock and her family, Jeff, Debbie and Amanda, his nieces Emma and Eva, and nephews Dean and Dominic.

Andy served in the Canadian Forces for 22 years and reached the well-respected rank of Master Warrant Officer. He was dedicated to his career and enjoyed the challenges, relationships and opportunities for travel serving his country provided. Andy was an intelligent, inquisitive man with a wide variety of interests including technology, music, golfing and cooking.

The family would like to thank the staff at CFB Edmonton for their kindness and professionalism during this difficult time, and the incredible amount of assistance and resources that have been provided. Multiple service members have reached out to share condolences, photos, stories and memories and offer support; words cannot express how much this means to us.

A service was held on Saturday November 23rd at 10:00am at the Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road in Edmonton, AB.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Wounded Warriors Canada, or Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society under the name Andy Clipperton.
