KEY, Brian “Frank” – Peacefully at home on Monday May 14, 2018. Loving husband and best friend of Nellie. Father of Graham Key (Carolyn), Gregory Key (Linda) and Vanda Heer. Poppa to Therese (Steve), Cathy (Darrell), Kim (Mike) and Annette (Rick). Grandfather of Korena, Katrina, Kayliegh, Hillary, Brittany, Kyle, Megan (Tyler), Emily, Branden, Nicholas, Adam, Derek (Megan) and TJ. Great grandfather of Everett, Ellie, Georgia, Thompson, Hazel, Gillian and Scottlynn. Frank spent his life as a proud military service man. He began his career as a private in the Airborne Infantry Division of the British Army where he served in Korea. After the war, he immigrated to Canada in 1954 and joined the Canadian Forces where he served his country for 33 years. He was commissioned as an officer in 1971. Retiring as a Captain, he ended his career in 1988 as commanding officer of C Squadron at CFB Kingston. Family will receive friends at the Township Chapel of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME , 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr. and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) on Tuesday May 22nd from 12 – 2 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in Our Chapel at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in the Military Section of Cataraqui Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made to 560 Legion, Montreal Street Kingston, or charity of your choice. NO FLOWERS PLEASE.
