Peacefully on October 14, 2021, at the age of 86, with family by his side.  Joseph was the beloved husband of Jean for 63 years.  He was the devoted father of Patricia, the late Barbara, Tom (the late Anne Fisher), Christine (Henry Ebron) and Mary (Dave Brown), and the proud grandfather of Adam (Kayla), Rachel, Greg, Evan, Emily, Daniel and Sara.  Joseph was the loving son of the late Joseph and Lilian Heenan.  He is survived by his brothers Peter and David and predeceased by siblings William, Terry, Madeleine and Gregory.  Our family would like to thank the staff at St. Patrick’s Home, Waterford House, for their outstanding and compassionate care of Joe.  The family will be having a private service.  Those wishing to do so, may consider a donation to St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa https://stpatsfoundation.ca or to the Ottawa Mission https://ottawamission.com
