Lieutenant-Colonel (Ret’d) Robert (Bob) Farrell, CELE(Land)

Peacefully, surrounded by his family and loved ones, on Wednesday, 30 September 2020, at the age of 79.  Loving spouse of Élise for 59 years.  Devoted father of Raymond Nelson (Diane Wiggins) and Tamara Jean Macdonald (Scott), and predeceased by daughter Marie Elizabeth Farrell.  Beloved brother of Dennis Joseph (Barbara Fulton) and Patricia June (John McCaughan).  Cherished grandfather of Megan and Émilie.  Robert will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Those who knew Robert remember him as a man of honour and service, a husband, father, soldier, diplomat, environmentalist, autodidact, handyman, astronomer, freemason, and tireless volunteer.  Funeral Care entrusted to Kelly Funeral Home – Kanata Chapel 580 Eagleson Rd.  613-591-6580
