Ripley, E. Gordon – 77, Kanata, ON, formerly of Port Howe, passed away August 21, 2021 at the Queensway Hospital, Ottawa.  Born in Port Howe, he was a son of the late Ivan and Ruth (Wood) Ripley.  Gordon served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 31 years, retiring in 1993.  He is survived by his wife, L. Jean (Ellis) Ripley; son, Kevin Ripley; daughter, Karen (Karl) Koelbel and special granddaughter, Lily Koelbel; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, in the Port Howe Cemetery.  Rev. Connie McNamara officiating.  Donations in memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
