It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Sergeant Alexandre St-Onge, who departed on November 23, 2023, at the age of 44.

Alexandre joined the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in 2001 as a Land communication and information system technician. Throughout his distinguished career spanning over 22 years, he served within various units of the 5th Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group and the 2nd Division. He also underwent a posting at CFS Letrim and was deployed to Afghanistan. His dedication and professionalism left a lasting impact within the CAF.

His departure leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues, and especially his son, Ryan.

A private ceremony was held in December 2023 to pay tribute to Alexandre.

Let us not forget the legacy and memory of this valiant soldier who dedicated his life in service to his country. His contributions will forever be etched in our memories.
