SERGEANT (RET) ROBERT GEORGE “BOB” FOSTER

1. Robert “Bob” died peacefully on October 10, 2024 at Rideaucrest Home in Kingston after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
2. He was one of the surviving paratroopers from the fateful parachute jump at Wegner Point in Petawawa on 8 May 1968.
3. Bob is survived by his wife Bonita Bell, his son Nathan Foster (Chantal), son Daryl (deceased), step-children Kelly Little (Mike), Matthew Murphy (Susanne), Mason Murphy (Jutta) and sisters, Judith Morgan and Leslie Foster-Knapp.
4. He will be lovingly missed by his grandchildren David, Meghan, Camille, Marie-Emilie, Alexandria, Taylor, Austin, Braeden, Katherine and Alexander, Great grandchildren, Gwendolyne, Hannah, Madelyn and Rose along with his nieces and nephews.
5. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at the Army, Navy and Airforce Club at 317 Gore Road, Kingston on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 13h00 to 17h00. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the MS society or a charity of your choice.
