Sergeant (Ret’d) James (Jim) S.GRATTO passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Providence Care Hospital at the age of 84.

Beloved husband of 61 years of Shirley (nee Osborne). Loving father of Lori (Colin Mandy), and Terry Lynn (Derrick Gardener). Cherished Pup and Grampy of Derek, Maxim, Nicholas, and Nicole. Jim will be missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Jim retired from the Military after 32 years of service with the RCCS and Airborne Signals.

Friends will be received at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, Township Chapel, 435 Davis Drive, Kingston, Ontario (Taylor Kidd Blvd. & Centennial Dr.) on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 4:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.

As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Heart & Stoke Foundation, in Jim’s memory.
Jim was truly a great man.
