WO Joel Christopher Maddock, CD, RCCS (Retired)
Joel Christopher Maddock, age 51, of London Ontario, passed away peacefully at University Hospital on 12 February 2022. Born in Guelph Ontario, son of the late Jack and Kathleen (Durkan) Maddock. Joel served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 28 years until his retirement. He worked in the Signals Core (high tech communications) and retired as a Warrant Officer. He had been deployed to Rwanda and Bosnia and had also taken part in the prestigious Nijmegen March twice in Holland.
Joel is survived by his siblings Julie Heinbuch (Grant), Jane McDermott (Ron), Brian Maddock, Gerald Maddock (Marilyn), Neil Maddock, Kathleen Maddock, Susan Hunter (Kevin) and Rosemary Maddock and their families.
A private family service will take place on Thursday, 17 February at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment at Avondale Cemetery.
