Captain Russell Storring, awarded the Military Personnel Generation Group Commanders Commendation for his work in Decentralized Recruit Training.

Citation: Captain Storring was a success enabler in the establishment of the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School Detachment Borden.  From July 2020 to June 2021, their invaluable basic training knowledge and superior leadership skills contributed to maintaining the CFB Borden institutional credibility and delivery of satellite serials of basic training. Their advice was sought at all levels to assist in adapting to the new mandate of decentralized basic training delivery.  As a result, Base Borden was able to effectively contribute to the basic training force generation mandate. – Signed by CWO J.L.S.
