1. CPL PALMER, RICHARD WILL RELEASE FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES ON 19 NOVEMBER 2023, AFTER 9 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO CANADA, THE ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS AND THE BEST TRADE, THE LINE TRADE.

2. RICHARD WAS SWORN IN AT THE OTTAWA RECRUITMENT CENTER ON 20 JAN 2015. HE WAS SOON AFTER POSTED TO CFLRS WHERE HE COMPLETED HIS BASIC TRAINING AND WAS POSTED TO PSTC KINGSTON. WHILE THERE FOR APPROXIMATELY 9 MONTHS, HE ALSO SUCCEEDED IN OBTAINING HIS TRADE QUALIFICATION. HE WAS THEN POSTED TO CFJSR WHERE HE SPENT THE NEXT FIVE YEARS OF HIS CAREER. WHILE AT CFJSR, HE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN NUMEROUS EXERCISES AND OPERATIONS BOTH DOMESTIC AND ABROAD, INCLUDING OP NANOOK AND OP PRESENCE. DURING HIS SERVICE WITH CFJSR, RICHARD WAS AWARDED WITH THE OSM EXPEDITION AND CDN PEACEKEEPING MEDALS. RICHARD WAS POSTED TO 77 LINE REGIMENT IN 2021 WHERE HE WORKED AT THE LOCAL LINE WORK CENTRE UNTIL HIS RETIREMENT.

3. RICHARD WITH HIS SPOUSE CHELSEA HAVE DECIDED TO REMAIN IN SMITHS FALLS ONTARIO WHERE RICHARD HAS BEEN OFFERED A JOB WITH 3M. IN A WAY, RICHARD WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US AS WE WILL BE USING THE TAPE HE MAKES AT THE 3M FACTORY.
