Formation of a ‘History Working Group’ + Volunteers Needed
The C&E Senate has approved the formation of a ‘History Working Group’, as presented by MGen (Ret’d) John Leech, President of the C&E Association, on 26 May 2023.
The purpose of this Working Group is to act as a focal point to collect, encourage the development of, and make publicly available historical documents and projects of relevance and interest to the C&E Branch; including its precursors and their evolution. As part of its work plan in the coming year, the C&E Association will implement the formation of a C&E Branch History Working Group. The History Working Group will be comprised of members from our Branch Adjutant’s Office, Museum, C&E Association plus members at large whom maybe serving or retired or others just interested in our History.
“History Working Group” is a value-add committee meant to coordinate history related projects by the use of volunteers and not burden working members of the Branch.
We are looking for ‘history nerd’ volunteers on a national basis as working members of the History Working Group.
If you are interested in joining this group, please contact:
- Major Gavin Ellis, Branch Adjt, 613-796-4102 [email protected]; or
- LCol (Ret’d) Hubert Janssen, C&E Assoc History & Heritage Lead, 613-590-0565 [email protected] at any time.
Interested, I was a former Branch Adjutant, Capt Don Brien
