Horseless Carriage Club visits C&E Museum

The Museum has been contacted by the Horseless Carriage Club as they plan on visiting the gallery tomorrow afternoon. I have asked permission from them to let people know online about their visit as people may be interested at looking at the automobiles.  At this time we are looking at about fifty vehicles coming to the Museum. The owners will be touring the gallery, but their cars will be on display in the large parking lot. I thought it may be of interest to members of the Branch.  I just hope the weather cooperates. They are also supposed to be in Springer Market Square over the lunch period before heading to the Museum (in case anyone will be downtown that day).

I have included the sample photos they sent me to post on the Museum Facebook site.  The cars range from 1904-1915, and are capable of speeds from 25 to 65 miles per hours depending on the make and model. They should be at the Museum around 1430 tomorrow afternoon.

Please pass on to anyone you can. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
