Congratulations to Master Corporal Donovan Santa who was presented with the 2022 Cyber Operator of the Year Award.

The citation reads:

Master Corporal Donovan Santa has been critical to the successful conduct of DND/CAF defensive cyber operations and in maintaining defensive cyber capabilities throughout the global pandemic. Their support to Op UNIFIER and Op REASSURANCE had direct positive impacts on Canada’s relationship with Ukraine and Latvia. MCpl Santa’s professionalism, resilience and ethical conduct was critical within the unit and while operating abroad, resulting in outcomes that bring repute to, and reflect positively on, DND/CAF. Their actions and success are recognized by the C&E Branch through their selection as the Branch Member of the Year.
