1. After 9 years of loyal and dedicated service to Canada, Corporal R.B. Bogatek will be retiring on the 28th of January 2024.
2. Cpl Bogatek joined the Canadian Armed Forces in Toronto, in 2015 as a pilot. Upon completing his basic military officer qualification in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, he went to Portage-la-Prairie Manitoba to commence his primary flight training. It was at this time that Cpl Bogatek decided to remuster as an Aerospace telecommunications and information systems technician, where he was posted to CFSCE in Kingston, on to complete his trades training in 2016. His first posting was to CFB Shearwater in 2018, where he spent almost six years. in oct 2023, Cpl Bogatek was posted to CFS Leitrim support squadron, where he finished out his career.
3. Cpl Bogatek is extremely thankful for all the people he has worked with and relationships he has built throughout these years. Upon retirement, Cpl Bogatek will remain in the NCR and he will continue to serve within the DND as a public servant.
