RETIREMENT – CPL MATTHEW LADAS – 00109 ATIS TECH

1. CORPORAL MATTHEW LADAS WILL BE RETIRING FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES (CAF) ON JUNE 5TH 2022, AFTER 6 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO CANADA.

2. CORPORAL LADAS ENROLLED IN THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE (RCAF) APRIL 2016. AFTER BASIC TRAINING, HE WAS POSTED TO KINGSTON WHERE HE COMPLETED HIS ATIS TECHNICIAN TRAINING AND WAS POSTED TO ATESS IN TRENTON WITH THE AIR FORCES DEPLOYABLE NETWORK SECTION. HE THEN SPENT A COUPLE OF YEARS WITH THE AIRFIELD MAINTENANCE SECTION, WHERE HE GOT TO TRAVEL WITH THE CENTRALIZED MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TEAM ON A FEW OF THEIR EXTENSIVE MAINTENANCE ON THE AIRFIELD COMPLEX SYSTEMS.

3. MATTHEW AND HIS ENDLESS GENEROSITY WILL BE MISSED BY ALL. HE IS RETIRING IN THE MONTREAL AREA WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, AND THE PLAN FOR NOW WILL BE COMPLETING HIS UNIVERSITY DEGREE AT OTTAWA U TO FUTHER HIS EDUCATION.

4. AS PER REQUEST BY MATT, THERE WILL BE NO FORMAL DEPART WITH DIGNITY EVENT.
