1. LCOL F. LÉTOURNEAU WILL RETIRE FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AND THE ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNAL ON MAY 6TH 2019 AFTER 20 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO CANADA.

2. LIEUTENANT-COLONEL LÉTOURNEAU JOINED THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES IN 1998 WERE HE BEGINS HIS STUDIES AT COMPAGNIE FORT ST-JEAN AND COMPLETED THEM AT THE ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE OF CANADA IN 2003 WITH A BACHELOR IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING.

3. FOLLOWING HIS SIGNAL OFFICER TRAINING, HE STARTS HIS CAREER AS CHARLIE TROOP COMMANDER WITH 5 QGET IN VALCARTIER. FOLLOWING THIS APPOINTMENT HE WILL SUCCESSIVELY OCCUPY DIVERSE AND DEMANDING POSITIONS AT THE TACTICAL, OPERATIONAL AND THE INSTITUTIONAL LEVEL. FREDERIC WILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO SERVE WITH QGET, 12E RBC, CEFCOM HQ, CJOC HQ, DLCSPM, DG CYBER AND 2 CDSG SIG SQN. THE MOST REWARDING OF THESE POSTINGS WAS MOST CERTAINLY WHEN HE HAD THE CHANCE TO COMMAND 2 CDSG SIG SQN.

4. LCOL F. LÉTOURNEAU SERVED OVERSEAS ON THREE OCCASIONS INCLUDING A 10 MONTH TOUR IN AFGHANISTAN IN 2007 AND TWO 6 MONTHS TOURS WITH THE UNITED NATIONS IN SUDAN IN 2010 AND CONGO IN 2014.

5. (NAMES REMOVED 2023 APRIL 20 BY ADMIN) WILL REMAIN IN THE NCR. LIEUTENANT-COLONEL LÉTOURNEAU WILL BEGIN A SECOND CAREER AS A PUBLIC SERVANT BY JOINING THE CANADIAN REVENUE AGENCY IT TEAM.
