2. LCOL MALO ENROLLED IN THE CAF IN EDMONTON, ALBERTA IN JUNE 1989 AND GRADUATED FROM ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE IN 1993. UPON COMPLETION OF CELE TRAINING AT CFSCE, HE WAS EMPLOYED WITH 4 TIS SQN AND 42 RADAR SQN IN COLD LAKE, MARLANT N6, RLO(A), 12 WTIS SHEARWATER AND SSU(A) IN HALIFAX, DDCEI AND D STRAT CS IN OTTAWA WITH HIS FINAL POSTING AS CO OF 76 COMMUNICATION REGIMENT IN OTTAWA. LCOL MALO’S QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE ALLOWED HIS TO ACQUIRE 2 ADDITIONAL DEGREES FROM THE MILITARY WITH AN M ENG FROM RMC AND MDS FROM CFC.
3. LCOL MALO IS GRATEFUL FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL CAREER HE HAS HAD WITHIN THE CAF AND THE FRIENDSHIPS HE HAS FORGED THROUGHOUT HIS TIME WITHIN THIS INCREDIBLE ORGANIZATION. HE WOULD LIKE TO OFFER SPECIAL RECOGNITION TO HIS FAMILY WHO WENT THROUGH HIS MILITARY JOURNEY TOGETHER WITH HIM, HIS WIFE MARSHA AND CHILDREN GRACE AND JOSHUA FOR THEIR PATIENCE AND LOVE THROUGHOUT HIS TIME IN THE CAF.
