1. AFTER MORE THAN 30 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CAF AND THE RCCS, MWO J. ROBINSON WILL RETIRE ON 05 NOV 2017.
2. ORIGINALLY FROM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, MWO J. ROBINSON ENROLLED IN THE CANADIAN FORCES IN 1987 AS A PERFORMANCE ORIENTED ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN. AFTER COMPLETING RECRUIT TRAINING IN CORWALLIS, NOVA SCOTIA, HE WAS POSTED TO KINGSTON, ONTARIO WHERE HE BEGAN HIS TRADE TRAINING. UPON COMPLETION OF ELECTRONICS TRAINING, HE GRADUATED AS A TELETYPE AND CRYPTO TECHNICIAN.
OVER THE COURSE OF 30 YEARS MWO J. ROBINSON WAS POSTED SEVEN TIMES ACROSS CANADA: ALDERGROVE, BORDEN, NORTH BAY, SHILO, OTTAWA AND FINALLY PETAWAWA.
3. MWO J. ROBINSON WILL REMAIN IN THE PETAWAWA AREA WHERE HE PLANS TO CONTINUE IMPROVING HIS DREAM HOME ALONG THE OTTAWA RIVER IN WESTMEATH, ONTARIO AND SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH HIS LOVELY WIFE. HE WILL ALSO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO HONE HIS “FISHING SKILLS” AND ENJOY ALL THAT THE OTTAWA VALLEY HAS TO OFFER.
5. DEPART WITH DIGNITY CEREMONY WILL BE HELD TO HONOUR MWO J. ROBINSON FOR HIS SERVICE ON 03 NOV 2017 AT THE WHITEWATER BREWING COMPANY SITUATED AT 78 HWY 17, COBDEN, ONTARIO, STARTING AT 1300HRS.
