1. SGT CHRISTOPHER HARRIS WILL BE RETIRING FROM THE CANADIAN FORCES ON 24 MAY 2019 AFTER 13 PLUS YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO CANADA.

2. ORIGINALLY FROM BRIDGEWATER, NS, CHRIS ENROLLED AS A COMMUNICATOR RESEARCHER IN DECEMBER 2005. FOLLOWING BASIC RECRUIT TRAINING IN CFB BORDEN, CHRIS WAS SENT TO CFB KINGSTON WHERE HE COMPLETED HIS OCCUPATIONAL AND FRENCH LANGUAGE TRAINING.

3. AS A COMMUNICATOR RESEARCHER HE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE LOADED ON THE PILOT ADVANCED SIGNALS ANALYSIS COURSE. THIS COURSE WOULD SHAPE HIS CAREER AS HE SPENT THE NEXT FOUR YEARS (2012-2016) INSTRUCTING AN UPGRADED SIGNALS ANALYSIS COURSE. IN 2018 HE SERVED ON THE ST JOHNS FOR OP REASSURANCE ROTO 8 BEFORE RETURNING BACK TO CFS LEITRIM TO TAKE OVER THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAM.

4. SGT HARRIS WILL BE STAYING IN THE NCR TO CONTINUE WORKING IN A SIGNALS ANALYST CAPACITY AT CSE. HIS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL CONTINUE TO BE AN ASSET TO THE DND.
