1. SERGEANT VIRGINIE OLIVIER IS BE RETIRING 6 JANUARY 2020 AFTER 30+ YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO CANADA.

2. SGT OLIVIER ENROLLED IN THE CAF IN MAY 1989. SHE HAS SERVED WITH LOYALTY AT CFS MASSET, CFB KINGSTON AND CFS LEITRIM. VIRGINIE ENJOYED AN OUTCAN POSTING TO SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA IN 1996. SHE WAS DEPLOYED TO CFS ALERT IN 1992, ABOARD USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN IN 2001 AND ON OPERATION WITH STANDING NATO MARITIME GROUP 1 (SNMG1) TO THE NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN IN 2009.

3. VIRGINIE AND HER BELOVED COMPANION LOKI WILL RETIRE TO THE IROQUOIS ONTARIO AREA TO ENJOY SOME MUCH DESERVED REST AND RELAXATION.

4. VIRGINIE HAS CHOOSEN NOT TO HAVE A FORMAL DWD LUNCHEON, BUT WILL INSTEAD CELEBRATE HER CARREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND FUTURE ENDEAVOURS WITH CLOSE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AT A SMALL CELEBRATION TO BE HELD THURSDAY, 30 JANUARY 2020, 17:00 AT THE KEG RESTAURANT, OTTAWA, ON. (BY INVITATION ONLY).
