1. WARRANT OFFICER ANDRÉ OUELLET WILL RETIRE ON 26 JAN 2021 AFTER OVER 34 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DISTINGUISHED SERVICE WITH THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AND THE ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS.

2. WO OUELLET ENROLLED IN THE NAVY IN DEC 1986 AS A MARINE ENGINEER MECHANIC WITH THE HMCS FRASER, IN HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA. THE NAVY WAS A QUICK WAY TO JOIN IN THE CAF, SO THREE YEARS LATER HE BECAME A RAD OP AND IT ALL WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE WITH THE FOLLOWING POSTINGS/MISSIONS:

3. FROM 1990-1995 – 1 CDHSR/C&E SCHOOL/MISSION IN RWANDA;

4. FROM 1996-1999 – 3e R22eR/MISSION IN HAITI;

5. FROM 2000-2003 – 2 RCR/MISSIONS IN ERITREA, KABUL AND HAITI;

6. FROM 2004-2007 – 3 ASG GAGETOWN/MISSION IN AFGHANISTAN;

7. FROM 2008-2011 – 1e R22eR AND 5e RALC;

8. FROM 2012-2016 – 35e GBMC;

9. FROM 2017-2019 – 4 REGT GS GAGETOWN;

10. 2020 – 5 CMBG HQ & SIGS; AND

11. 2020 – 8 ACCS DET BAGOTVILLE.

12. ANDRÉ PLANS TO ENJOY HIS RETIREMENT WITH HIS FAMILY IN QUÉBEC CITY AND LAC ST-JEAN BY WORKING PART-TIME, BLUBERRY PICKING, HUNTING AND FISHING.
