1. ON 29 JANUARY 2021, WARRANT OFFICER GRANT KRYGSVELD WILL RETIRE FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AFTER 31+ YEARS OF SERVICE.

2. WARRANT OFFICER KRYGSVELD JOINED THE RCAF AS AN INTEGRAL SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN IN 1989. FOLLOWING AMALGAMATION TO AVIONICS TECHNICIAN IN 1996, HE REMUSTERED TO ATIS TECH IN 2000. HIS POSTINGS WERE TO COLD LAKE, GREENWOOD, GANDER, OKLAHOMA CITY, CORNWALL AND FINALLY THE NCR. HIS DEPLOYMENTS INCLUDED OP APOLLO, OP CALUMET, OP ENDURING FREEDOM AND OP CARRIBE.

3. GRANT AND HIS WIFE PATRICIA WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE IN CORNWALL WHERE HE WILL CONTINUE HIS SERVICE IN THE AIR RESERVE.

4. NO DEPART WITH DIGNITY CEREMONY WILL BE HELD DUE TO CURRENT RESTRICTIONS.
