Citation. Major Wallace Bruce Matthews CARRUTHERS (February 13, 1863 – October 21, 1910) was an RMC Honours Graduate (College #82), a Canadian soldier with combat experience in South Africa, President of the RMC Club of Canada (1904-1905), and founder of the Canadian Signalling Corps (the first such military organization in the British Commonwealth).
