1. MASTER CORPORAL SCOTT KEOGH WILL BE LEAVING THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES ON AUGUST 18TH, 2019 AFTER 9 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE RCCS, CAF, AND CANADA.

2. HE JOINED AS A SIGNAL OPERATOR ON AUGUST 19TH, 2010 IN NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C., HOWEVER, HE TRANSFERRED TO AN ACISS-INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST ONCE POSTED TO CFJSR IN 2011.

3. SPENDING THE MAJORITY OF HIS CAREER WITH CFJSR (AND AS 1 SQN RIGHT MARKER), HE DEPLOYED OVERSEAS ON THREE OCCASIONS. IN 2014, HE DEPLOYED TO KUWAIT IN SUPPORT OF OP IMPACT WHERE HE RECEIVED A CJOC COMMAND COMMENDATION. IN 2016, HE DEPLOYED ON OP UNIFIER IN UKRAINE. HIS LAST DEPLOYMENT WAS TO LATVIA IN SUPPORT OF OP REASSURANCE IN 2018.

4. CPL KEOGH WILL BE LEAVING THE MILITARY TO START A “NEW OPPORTUNITY” (HIS PREVIOUS JOB, JUST WEARING MORE COMFORTABLE CLOTHING) IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE AT SMC KINGSTON. HE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL HIS PEERS AND MENTORS FOR THEIR GUIDANCE DURING HIS MILITARY CAREER.

5. SCOTT WILL STAY IN KINGSTON WITH HIS WIFE, HEATHER AND SON, AARON. HE HOPES TO SPEND MORE TIME AT HOME IN THE NEXT YEAR THAN HE HAS IN THE PAST EIGHT.

6. AN INFORMAL LUNCHEON WILL BE HELD IN HIS HONOUR ON 16 AUG 2019 AT 1300HRS AT RAXX’S BAR & GRILL (665 DEVELOPMENT DRIVE, KINGSTON ON).
