1. MASTER WARRANT OFFICER WILLIAM (BILL) MCKEE WILL RETIRE ON 29 JUN 2020, AFTER 27 PLUS YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE TO CANADIAN ARMED FORCES.
2. MWO BILL MCKEE FIRST ENROLLED IN THE CAF 23 MAY 1986 AS A TERMINAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN. AFTER RELEASING IN APR 2000 FOR A PERIOD OF TIME, HE RE-ENROLLED IN THE CAF AS A LAND COMMUNICATIONS INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN ON 23 FEB 2007. BILL’S ASSIGNMENTS HAVE INCLUDED: CFS CARP, 740 COMM DET CHILLIWACK, 79 COMM REGIMENT KINGSTON, BTISU CFB BORDEN, SUPPORT SQUADRON CFS LEITRIM, 1ST NATO SIGNAL BATTALION GERMANY, WFM DIRECTORATE LAND REQUIREMENTS (DLR4).
3. IN ADDITION TO THESE ASSIGNMENTS BILL HAS COMPLETED OPERATIONAL DEPLOYMENTS TO BOSNIA (1995/96), KOSOVO (1999), AFGHANISTAN (2007/2008), AND CFS ALERT (2011/2012).
4. BILL WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THOSE THAT HE HAS SERVED WITH AND IS GRATEFUL FOR THE GREAT FRIENDSHIPS THAT HE HAS DEVELOPED OVER HIS 27+ YEARS IN UNIFORM.
5. BILL WILL REMAIN IN THE OTTAWA/GATINEAU AREA AS HE HAS TAKEN A POSITION WITHIN DLCSPM.

It has been a very long time and our paths rarely crossed but I will always remember you Bill as straight up decent man, hard working and non-judgemental. Congrats on a long and successful career and really enjoy your retirement.
Bill, all the best in your retirement from the CAF and future service within DLCSPM as a civilian. Your work ethic and tenacity throughout military service has been absolutely commendable and am excited your skills will now bring benefit to the public service.
